About

JP Standing Sketch.jpg

My name is Jean Pierre Carreon AKA JP for short. I am a graphic designer, sales, and media specialist. My professional education is from DePaul University with a major in graphic design with a minor in communication, media, and animation. I achieved my Bachelor's in the summer of 2024.

The best way to reach me is via email. My email is jpcarreonpro@gmail.com. You could also contact me via LinkedIn. My LinkedIn address is www.linkedin.com/in/jeanpierrecarreon. You can also contact me with the contact section in the menu above.

Personal History

I am also a creator for the AnotherDay brand made for video making, animation, building stories, and exploring more creative directions. Along the way, I picked up a few hobbies, including being a host on several radio stations, creatively writing fiction novels of hundreds of pages, making a few concept videos for animations and skits, and creating comics with years of experience. During my radio days, I've worked with Lancer Radio and Radio DePaul where I share positive stories and keep track of what's going on around the world. I have plans on making multiple fictional novel series. So far, I'm in the creation, editing, and publication stages for several novels. As for videos, I tend to make animations, animatics, music videos, or short skits monthly.  In addition, I've been making several comedic satire comics for most of my life. They began as print, but I've readily transitioned to digital.

Mission

I believe that we are an indicator of change. To do that, we must do something beyond the status quo. Innovation is in the palm of our hands. I always say, "To make a difference, we must be different." I hope to pursue that philosophy in my work to make something we don't normally see daily.

Past Experience

My experience out there is diverse. One job would be working as a games team member in Six Flags Great America selling carnival games while keeping contact and occasionally transferring to other departments such as culinary and retail. Another job would be as a graphic design intern for Who'z the Boss Music Library where I've made several album covers and worked on team projects for their social media using Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop and Illustrator. I've also completed some freelance work by updating the brand's logo seasonally and editing their advertisements for the Tok Tok delivery service and JRSC. I' 've also made several t-shirt designs produced and updated annually for private clients. With these, my skillset, whether on a computer screen or talking up front, has been flexible toward multiple positions.

Always changing, always different. That's JP.
